Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2/25/2026. SalesLay ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our website and services.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the SalesLay platform, our website, and any related services. By signing up, signing in, or using SalesLay, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. We may update this policy from time to time; we will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy and revising the Last updated date.
2. Information we collect
We collect information that you provide directly, that we obtain from third-party integrations, and that we collect automatically when you use our services.
Information you provide
When you create an account, sign in, or use the product, we may collect your name, email address, profile picture (if provided by your sign-in provider), and any other information you choose to provide in your profile or in support requests. When you connect HubSpot or other integrations, we receive and store the data made available to us through those integrations (e.g. deals, contacts, companies) as necessary to provide the service.
Information from integrations
When you connect HubSpot, we access and cache CRM data (deals, contacts, companies, and related properties) according to the OAuth scopes you approve. We use this data to power the dashboard, recovery list, workflows, and analytics. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising. We may also receive limited information from other connected services (e.g. email sending providers) as needed to operate features you enable.
Automatically collected information
We collect log data (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps), device information, and usage data (e.g. feature usage, errors) to operate, secure, and improve our services. We may use cookies and similar technologies as described in the Cookies section below.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the SalesLay platform; authenticate you and manage your account; sync, display, and process your CRM and workflow data as you request; send you product-related communications; respond to support requests; monitor and analyze usage and trends; detect, prevent, and address fraud and security issues; and comply with applicable laws. We do not sell your personal data or CRM data to third parties for advertising or marketing.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We may share your information with service providers that process data on our behalf under contractual obligations; when required by law or to protect rights and safety; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not share your CRM data or personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.
5. Data retention and security
We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. We retain synced CRM data and workflow data as needed to provide the service and as required by our retention and backup policies. After you disconnect an integration or delete your account, we may retain certain data for a limited period for backup, audit, and legal compliance. We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your profile and preferences from within the product. To disconnect an integration, use the settings in SalesLay and/or in the third-party service. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, contact us through the Support page. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
7. Cookies and international transfers
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how you use our site. Your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate; we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses) when required by law for transfers from the EEA or UK.
8. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post the updated policy on this page. For material changes we may provide additional notice. Your continued use of SalesLay after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. For privacy-related questions or to exercise your rights, please use our Support page or the contact details in your account settings.
