Frequently asked questions
How do I connect my HubSpot account?
After signing in, go to Settings and use the HubSpot integration section. You’ll be redirected to HubSpot to authorize SalesLay. Once authorized, we’ll sync the CRM data we need. You can disconnect or reconnect at any time from the same settings page.
Why don’t I see my deals or recovery list?
Ensure HubSpot is connected and that you’ve allowed access to deals and related objects. If you’ve just connected, wait for the initial sync to complete. If the list is still empty, check that you have deals in HubSpot in the stages we support. Use the “Try Again” or refresh option on the dashboard if you see an error.
How do email workflows work?
Workflows let you build multi-step email sequences. You choose templates, timing, and (where applicable) which contacts or deals to enroll. Emails are sent via your configured SMTP or sending provider. Set up SMTP in Settings before sending. Always ensure you have consent and comply with anti-spam laws.
Can I revoke SalesLay’s access to HubSpot?
Yes. You can disconnect the integration from SalesLay settings, and you can also revoke the app from your HubSpot account under Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps. Revoking will stop syncing; existing cached data in SalesLay may remain until it’s cleared according to our data retention policy.
What’s your response time for support?
We aim to respond to in-app and email support requests within one to two business days. Urgent issues (e.g. security or major outages) are prioritized. Include your account email and a clear description of the issue so we can help faster.
Who do I contact for billing or account changes?
Billing and account changes are handled through the same support channel. Sign in and use the dashboard support option, or contact us with the email associated with your account. We’ll route your request to the right team.
Reporting security issues
If you believe you’ve found a security vulnerability in SalesLay, please report it to us responsibly. Do not disclose it publicly before we’ve had a chance to address it. Contact us through the support channel and label your message “Security.” We’ll acknowledge receipt and work with you to understand and fix the issue.
